Home care team of Nityasahayakan Trust ready....*
A family met at the home care project of Nithyasahagan Trust. According to the request of the 8th Ward Member of Kidangur Grama Panchayat, Mrs. Tina Malikaykel, a month ago when we reached that house, two old womwns were bedridden with broken bodies in two rooms. The third sister who was able was helping them with all needs. The panchayat’s palliative wing and the cooperation of the Koodallur Government Hospital were available at their required stages, but realizing the dire situation when something happens to the third sister or she has to leave for other needs, Honorable Ward Member Tina Malikakkal requested Nityasahayakan to admit these three sisters to Ammaveed Agati Mandir of the Trust. As per the member’s request, we prepared the arrangements including the ambulance and when we came to take over last month, one of the three sisters who had agreed the previous day obstructed the way and thus the takeover was stalled. However, due to the love of the members towards them, the Nithyasahayakan does not forget to bring them the evening meal during the meal service at Koodallur Hospital…and visits them once a month under the home care scheme and provides help and care. One of them said goodbye to this world a week ago. What really touched my heart was that Vincent Chetan, the owner of Koodallur *Maria Hotel*, had been giving lunch to them for days without stopping. The Good Samaritan is gratefully remembered and admired by the Nithyasahayakan. And the great Tina Member. Let us pray for these sisters and for the goodwill that helps them.
