Nityasahayakan Trust’s Amma veed Bhavan took Sheela (60yr old ) who had contracted polio at a very young age and was exhausted at the request of Neendur Gram Panchayat 14th Ward Member Maya Baiju. If Sheela wants to move from one place to another, she can only move by crawling on the ground. Sheila was looked after by her sister Shaila and her children before. But as the children have gone to far places for education and Sheelas sister owns a small business and has to stand in the shop from morning till evening as a means of livelihood, on the request of ward member Maya Baiju and after the intervention of SNDP branch president UK Shaji, Nityasahayakan Trust took Sheela to Amma Veedu Bhawan. Trust president Anil Joseph, Thomas Anchampil, Surendran KR Paul Mankuzhikari, Jason Palail, Sindhu VK, Jayashree, Anananya, Klaramma Babu, Elsamma Pallatu Tadtil presided over the acceptance ceremony. Ward member Maya Baiju and SNDP branch president UK Shaji are always there.
