As part of the faith festival, when he chose to gift the prize he received to the mothers at the Ammaveed bhavan, this young boy taught us a profound lesson — that the value of what we give is not measured by its price, size, our capacity, or financial status, but solely by the heart filled with compassion and kindness.

Just as the Lord valued the poor widow’s small coin more than the lavish gifts of the rich, and like the tiny squirrel that joined the great monkey army by rolling in sand during the burning of Lanka, all these examples highlight great values — values that, unfortunately, seem to be fading in today’s world.

But children like Angelo, who grow up embracing such noble values, will always stand apart.

Whenever he can, he joins Amma Reetha Jaison to visit the Amma Veedu shelter, where he brings joy to the mothers of the Nithyasahayakans ammaveed, feed them food, helps clean their rooms, and brings smiles to their faces.

We extend our heartfelt wishes and blessings to this beloved son of the mothers — may all goodness follow him always.

It is children like him who should become role models for the new generation.
