Leelamma Also Adapted to Nithyasahayakan’s Amma Veedu.

Mulakkulam, Vadakunnappuzha: The Nithya Sahayakan Trust extended its compassionate services once again by taking in Leelamma, a woman from Vadakunnappuzha, Mulakkulam, who was in a dire condition and later passed away while under the care of the Trust.

Leelamma’s plight came to the attention of panchayat authorities, who informed the Trust. Responding promptly, Trust President Anil Joseph and Secretary Sindhu personally visited her and assessed the situation.

Leelamma had been under the care of her brother, but the family was facing overwhelming hardships — her brother’s wife had recently passed away, and their sister was bedridden. With no one left to support her and no longer able to continue her small lottery sales business, survival became nearly impossible.

Realizing the urgency of the situation, Panchayat member Ajith Kumar reached out to the Nithya Sahayakan Trust, who acted swiftly to take her under their wing.

The formal handover was supported by Trust officials, volunteers, and local panchayat authorities, ensuring that Leelamma received the dignity and care she deserved in her final days.
