Kaduthuruthy:
The inauguration of the Medicine Bank project, initiated under the leadership of the Neezhoor Nithyasahayakan Trust, was conducted at Kaduthuruthy Valiya Palli at 9:30 AM by Rev. Fr. Mathew Chandran Kunnannel, Vicar of Thazhathupally. Rev. Fr. Johnson Neelanirappel, Vicar of Valiya Palli, gave the benediction.
The event was presided over by Anil Joseph, President of the Nithyasahayakan Trust.
Sani Kaniyamparambil, President of the Kaduthuruthy Merchants and Businessmen Coordination Committee; Lambochean Pannivelil, Promoter of the Medicine Bank; Home Coordinator Geo Kunnasheril; Amma Veedu Bhavan Secretary Sindhu V.K.; and Vice President Surendran K.K. spoke during the event.
Initially, collection boxes were installed at 15 locations.
The Medicine Bank scheme aims to collect unused medicines, diapers, underpads, medical equipment, and hospital beds for distribution to those in need.
