.jeezur: A 70- year- old Kumari was taken from Chirateparampil Lakhveet in the second ward of Vechur Grama panchayat to Ammaveed bhavan by Nithyasahayakan trust,on the request of ward member Geeta Soman. The son was not able to go to work as the mother had bedsores and was sick with wounds and had to be by her side all the time. Panchayat member Geetha Soman intervened and decided to transfer Kumariamma to nithyasahayakan’s ammaveed when the family was in a very dire situation and did not know what to do next. Anganwadi teacher Lathimol used to take care of Kumariamma when there was no one at her mother’s house. Under the leadership of ward member Geeta Soman and Anganwadi teacher Lathimol, ask help from nithyasahayakan trust’ President Anil Joseph, Secretary Sindhu VK, Patron Thomas Anchampil, Surendran KK, Paul Mankuzhikari, Jaison Palail, Youth Coordinator Jomin Chalil and Nursing Incharge Rita Jasson led the mission.
